When steel still wins

Buy (or build) heavy steel or DIY wood when the stand stays put — club props, a bay you don’t tear down, a truck bed that never gets emptied. Mass is free wind stability. Volume steel is the right tool for that job.

If you move the stand — practice nights, classifiers at home, BLM / outdoor trips, travel to a match, instructor arrays — steel’s weight is the tax. That’s the X-13 job.
